Liveright Publishing, NY, 1939. Red cloth, yellow dyed top-edge, yellow end-papers, deckled pages, black letters. Minor spine bumping, hd & ft, corners. Small area of discoloration at the foot of spine. Signed by the author across the fff in green ink - no other markings. Pages have yellowed due to age/poor paper quality. Just a hint of spine slant, but tightly bound. Both hinges are sound. DJ has chipping, creasing and small tears along edges (all closed), with two larger pieces missing at foot of spine and bottom of front cover (also closed). The Publisher's original cover price of $2.50 is at corner of front flap. That corner is also dog-eared. Minor shelf-wear and other blemishes, in places. Still bright & colorful. Now in a Clearbags protective book sleeve. 407 pages.
