Red cloth, dyed top-edge, illustrated end-papers, gilt letters. Spine bumping, hd & ft, corners. Crisp white pages w/o markings. The gilt spine decor/lettering is almost gone, leaving the underlying green printing. The spine has a bit of separation, but book is still tightly bound - both hinges are sound. The yellow DJ is chipped & worn at the head & foot of spine & along the edges (all closed). The back cover has darkened somwhat with age/shelfwear/handling & the spine & front cover also have a bit of wear. The folds also show some rubbing. The publisher's original price of $1.00 has been blacked out & counter-stamped with a price of $1.25 added at the top & bottom flaps. [Appears to have been professionally done, either by the publisher or printer.] Now in a re-usable ClearBags protective book jacket. 184 pages + 1 pd of ads.
