Minor spine bumping/rubs, head & foot; small frays at corners. Small nick mid-way along the spine, with a bit of wear in that area. Bottom of both boards are also rubbed. Two previous owner's signatures to the front free fly, one dtd 1873- no other markings. Dyed top-edge has faded somewhat. All gilt is bright. Book is tightly bound, with just a hint of roll - both hinges are sound. 518 pages + 2 pgs of ads.
