Red cloth, gilt page-edges all-around, illustrated spine & front cover, decorative end-papers, black letters against a gilt background. Spine bumping/small frays, head & foot, corners. Previous owner's small signature(?), externally along top-edge of front board. The back board is blemished/sun-faded, mainly along the top & fore-edge. Spine gilt & gilt page-edges are somewhat dulled, but still fully extant. All internal pages are yellowing with age along the top-edges. Book is moderately rolled, but still tightly bound. The front hinge was cracked & has been repaired. 375 pages + 10 pgs of ads.
